eStar Truck & Van has completed the second phase of a four-vehicle order for Higson Edwards, the largest and oldest Steel Stockholder in Merseyside, delivering two 18-tonne Mercedes-Benz Actros flatbed trucks fitted with bespoke 8950mm bodies.
This latest handover completes Higson Edwards’ investment in a fleet tailored to its day-to-day needs. Each vehicle has been built to a custom specification, with a clear focus on practicality, durability, and flexibility when it comes to carrying loads.
Finished in Higson Edwards’ distinctive turquoise blue livery, the trucks also reinforce the company’s strong and recognisable presence on the road.
As part of the upgrade, three older non-Mercedes-Benz vehicles have been replaced, with an additional truck added to support ongoing growth and increasing operational demands.
All four vehicles are supplied with a full Repair and Maintenance (R&M) package and will be serviced at eStar’s flagship Knowsley Truck site, helping to keep them running reliably while ensuring consistent aftersales support.
