We are recruiting for a Workshop Cleaner to join the team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Trafford Park!

As a Workshop Cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping across the workshop and outside yard areas. You will also be required to assist the Technicians by prepping work areas and maintaining equipment readiness.

Package Details:

• £25,396 per annum
• Based onsite at Trafford Park
• 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
• 08:00 – 16:30
• 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays

Key Purpose of the Job:

• To ensure total customer satisfaction and responsibility for the maintenance of the premises and related facilities

Accountabilities:

• To maintain a good standard of housekeeping in the wash bay, yard area and adjacent external areas
• To maintain cleanliness and basic level checks on courtesy vehicles
• Maintain high cleaning standards to uphold the professionalism of the workshop and outside yard areas
• Follow workplace safety guidelines/procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist Technicians with tasks that enhance efficiency, such as preparing work areas and maintaining equipment readiness
• Communicate any issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management
• Be adaptable and responsive to changing cleaning requirements, including emergency cleanups or unexpected situations
• Interact professionally with customers and visitors, ensuring a positive impression of the workshop
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to cleaning, safety, and environmental standards

Skills and Competencies Required:

• Experience in a similar role and awareness of a busy workshop environment
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiasm to deliver the Mercedes-Benz customer experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment
• IT literate
