Site Coordinator - Skelmersdale
Job Description
We are looking for a Site Coordinator to join the team here at our brand new Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Skelmersdale!
This role is primarily responsible for the organisation of vehicles in the yard, therefore driving will be a significant part of your day to day responsibilities. You will act as a key Company representative and promptly address the needs of all potential customers, striving for customer satisfaction at all times.
You will also ensure the site is safe for both customers and colleagues and compliant with Health and Safety Policy.

- £25,396
- Based onsite in Skelmersdale
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
- 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays

Key Purpose of the Job:
- Promptly address and respond to the needs of all potential customers
- Ensure total customer satisfaction in the collection and delivery of motor vehicles
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the premises, yards and related facilities
Accountabilities:
- Ensure workshop and yard areas are kept clean and tidy
- Maintain cleanliness and basic level checks on courtesy vehicles
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Policy and ISO requirements
- Sort and categorise vehicles in the yard by completion status
- Maintain stock list of vehicles onsite
- Booking vehicles in and out
- Ensure yard is kept accessible for both customers and colleagues at all times
- Assist with vehicle collection and delivery as required
- Respond to both internal and external queries and requests promptly
- Supervise parking arrangements and assist with security of buildings during your shift
- Driving or collecting from other sites, as and when required
Skills and Competencies Required:
- UK Driving Licence with a minimum of Class 2 (essential)
- Class 1 licence (not essential but advantageous)
- IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages, mainly Excel and spreadsheets, as well as inhouse apps
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and colleagues
- Ability to accurately record all relevant information
- Ability to organise vehicles based on job status
- Ability to confidently and reliably drive vehicles in a busy yard environment
