Receptionist & Administration Officer - Knowsley Head Office
Job Description
We are recruiting for a Receptionist and Administration Officer to join the team and be the face of our Knowsley Head Office!
As a Receptionist and Administration Officer you will report to the Head of Facilities and Compliance and your main responsibilities will be to handle all internal and external customers with courtesy, both in person and on the telephone.
In addition, you will also process office orders and deliveries as well as inbound and outbound mail, and support the Facilities and Compliance department in administration, research, analysis and reporting in relation to compliance and risk management.

Package Details:
- £23,795 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Knowsley Head Office based
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
- 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays

Key Purpose of the Job:
- To be the face of eStar at the Knowsley Head Office, working on reception, providing excellent, friendly and professional service to customers, guests and colleagues
- To support the wider business with the administration activities, which include a wide range of topics such as risk and quality management, facilities and maintenance and environment
Accountabilities:
- Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all, at all times
- Meet and greet guests at head office
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via reception
- Answer head office calls and support overflow from sales/ service calls
- Book meeting rooms and order refreshments/ food on behalf of Directors and Senior Leadership Team
- Deal with deliveries, post and internal mail
- Ensure tea/coffee/ milk supply is kept fully stocked
- Order office stationery and other items as required
- Deal with any issues arising with cleaners, contractors, vending machines, waste management and facilities
- Assist with vehicle hire for training courses
- Compliance administration support including research, analysis and reporting from various sources
- Completion of customer and supplier compliance questionnaires
- Assist with Health and Safety, Environment and Quality administration
- Support the business with gaining accreditation of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Fire marshal and first aider duties (training will be provided)
- Other ad hoc projects as required
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Previous reception/ administrative experience
- Excellent customer service
- Experience with compliance and risk management administration advantageous
- Driving licence preferred
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- A team player who is able to confidently interact with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Integrity, credibility and trustworthiness
